San Francisco the first state to ban single-use plastic bags in 2007 has decided to ban Reusable Shopping Bags due to COVID-19. This provision was among a host of lifestyle changes imposed Tuesday by six Bay Area counties when they decided to redo some of the stay at home regulations. The purpose of the ban is to prevent outside germs from entering grocery stores. The new regulation lasts tell May 3rd 2020.
