Fried Mushrooms are one of the American southwest biggest and most famous dishes. Fried Mushrooms are normally served as a appetizer or snack. Fried Mushrooms are made by either deep frying mushrooms in batter a batter. Most people and restaurants serve the mushrooms with ranch. The mushrooms take normally 10 minutes to cook.


What To Make Fried Mushrooms With
Fried Mushroom are great party appetizers and are great for any event. The mushrooms can be served with fried pickles and fried green beans. The mushrooms will be the star of your event.


Fried Mushroom Recipe
Servings:4
Cooking time:5 mins

Ingredients

1 pkg prewashed button mushrooms
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 cup of milk
1 large egg
 salt and pepper to taste
cooking oil

Directions

  • Combine egg and milk in a small mixing bowl.


  • Combine flour, salt, and pepper in another small mixing bowl.


  • Dip mushrooms into egg/milk mixture. Roll in flour mixture to coat thoroughly. Dip in milk mixture again, and roll in flour mixture again.


  • Fry in a deep fat fryer at 375 degrees until golden brown.


  • Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.


  • Serve with ranch
